Hot Topics in the News

Whether you are a total “news junkie” or feel out of touch and bewildered by the daily torrent of headlines, or if you would just like a bit more insight into what is going on in the world, this is the course for you. In each session, participants will engage in lively discussions about the big news stories of the week and, in the process, get a better handle on the backstories, how the pieces fit together, and where things may be heading. We are living in a period of historical upheaval and transition, so there will be no shortage of hot topics to discuss.
