TAN’s Mission:
To foster third age learning and share issues and solutions to common organizational challenges. We do this by promoting the establishment of organizations that provide opportunities for older adults to learn in a friendly, social setting and by supporting adult learning organizations in this process by sharing strategies and techniques to accomplish this goal. TAN is the network that connects organizations across Ontario dedicated to the joy of later-life learning. Members share insights and resources through regular “Idea Exchanges”, on-line discussion groups, a speakers list and operational know-how. At TAN we believe in the collective power of knowledge and community to Educate, Engage and Empower.
